On Friday we discussed the fact that we would like to change the name of the database and project from the increasingly inappropriate "Transatlantic Fiction Project" to something more accurate (and perhaps with a better acronym into the bargain). Suggestions so far:
END: The Early Novels Database
ENDO: The Early Novels Database Online
EFNO: Early Fictional Narratives Online
NEO: Novels in English Online
Important considerations include the fact that our project includes a wide range of fictional narrative genres but focuses on the novel and the fact that we include works in English no matter where written or published.
Further suggestions?
